Welcome to Stokes Barn

Stokes Barn Self Catering Complex is a converted 19th Century Threshing Barn, Cottage and Granary set in rural Shropshire where we now offer group accommodation and family accommodation in the 3 separate properties in a peaceful and scenic countryside location at affordable prices.

Based just outside Much Wenlock; Stokes Threshing Barn, The Granary and Stokes Holiday Cottage can be hired separately to suit your accommodation and budget requirements or all hired together as a complex for total privacy.

All 3 properties in the Stokes barn Complex are self catering, but we can arrange caterers for you by prior arrangement.
There is plenty of car parking provided and enough room for buses to turn around at the top.
There is a designated bonfire area.
We also can provide a wide range of Outdoor Activities (see link)
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

The village of Much Wenlock is a 10 - 15 min walk away, where you'll find:

• Pubs/ Restaurants
• Cafes
• BP petrol station with supermarket
• Banks
• A fantastic local butcher (be warned you may have to queue!)
• Bakery
• Fruit and Veg shops
• Post Office and a number of quirky local shops.

Stokes Barn group accommodation is within 20mins from the historic market town of Shrewsbury, 15mins from Telford and Bridgnorth and 7 miles from Ironbridge.

There are also many well marked walking/bridal paths leaving right from Stokes Barn for you to explore the beauty of the Shropshire Countryside.

We also have one of Shropshire’s most popular family caravan and camping sites just 1 mile away (see camping link) and also a rustic style campsite for tents only in a field near the accommodation.

We Also arrange Activities locally to add fun and adventure to your stay. Shropshire Quad biking, Off-road Go-karting, Archery, Clay Pigeon Shooting, High Ropes and many other Adventure Activities based in the village of Much Wenlock.
